veski inspiring women industry intern profiles
veski inspiring women industry internships are managed by veski with the support of the Office of the Lead Scientist, industry and academic partners.
Working closely with the interns and their hosting companies, veski coordinates reporting, promotion and a masterclass series to underpin the veski inspiring women internships.

In the field of Computer Science and Engineering to:
- Luyao (Sally) Teng from Victoria University who interned at Big Networks Pty Ltd, Australia focused on Developing Virtual Environments for Home TeleHealth: Benefiting Victorian Mental Well Being
- Zoi Petroulias from Monash University who interned at Clarinox Technologies Pty Ltd focused on the Internet of Things
- Jennifer Lewis from Deakin University who interned at Ecot Pty Ltd developing a Washroom Monitoring System
In the field of Mathematics and Statistics:
- Puxue Qiao from the University of Melbourne who interned at MTS Intercoms Pty Ltd developing a Crime Prediction Model

About the program
The inspiring women STEM sidebyside program is an initiative to support women in the STEM industries that is led by veski and Monash University with the support of the British Consulate General Melbourne. This dynamic program is designed to empower women at different career stages with the skills, networks and mindset to develop and achieve their career goals within STEM industries.
