Dr Victoria Blair
Leading the Way participant
Research Fellow
Monash University
Dr Victoria Blair received her PhD in 2010 from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow under the supervision of Prof. Robert Mulvey. Following this, she undertook a joint industry/academic postdoctoral position with Pfizer in Kent, England.
In 2011 she relocated to Melbourne to begin an ARC funded postdoctoral fellowship working with Prof. Phil Andrews at Monash University. In 2014 she was awarded an ARC DECRA fellowship to begin her independent research career. In 2016 she was awarded an ARC DP (CI) and currently works as a lecturer in inorganic/organometallic chemistry at Monash University.

About the program
The inspiring women STEM sidebyside program is an initiative to support women in the STEM industries that is led by veski and Monash University with the support of the British Consulate General Melbourne. This dynamic program is designed to empower women at different career stages with the skills, networks and mindset to develop and achieve their career goals within STEM industries.
