Gender in Research Organisations
- Women in the Science Research Workforce Toolkit - is designed to provide tools for Senior Leaders, Team Leaders and Lab Heads to address the gendered patterns of success in science and to assist individuals develop strategies for success. The Toolkit is designed to help identify barriers and obstacles to career progression and to assist in generating alternatives and solutions noting that change is a marathon, not a sprint, for organisations as well as for individuals.
- NHMRC – Women in Health Science - The aim of the Women in Health Science Working Committee is to gain a better understanding of the issues that face women researchers in health and medical research in terms of career progression and retention to enable NHMRC to identify mechanisms that could be implemented to overcome these issues. Gender Equity initiatives
- SAGE - The SAGE Initiative is a program of activities designed to improve gender equity in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) sectors.
- NHMRC – Institutional Gender Equity Policies - All NHMRC Administering Institutions were invited to identify activities and approaches in place to support gender equity within their institutions in 2013. The policies are varied and some key examples are on this site.

About the program
The inspiring women STEM sidebyside program is an initiative to support women in the STEM industries that is led by veski and Monash University with the support of the British Consulate General Melbourne. This dynamic program is designed to empower women at different career stages with the skills, networks and mindset to develop and achieve their career goals within STEM industries.
