Continuing to build knowledge and capacity through skills, training and education.
The veski inspiring women STEM sidebyside program founding partners have agreed to deliver the veski inspiring women STEM sidebyside program for a third consecutive year in 2020 - exclusively for a cohort of competitively selected mid-career emerging leaders.
Through continued communication, evaluation and review with the 2018 and 2019 alumni, the program has been highly tailored to benefit participants to build confidence to achieve their career goals.
With women continuing to be under-represented at leadership levels across Australia, the veski inspiring women STEM sidebyside program goes some way to addressing this challenge, but don’t take our word for it, here is what just a handful of participants have to say…
Participants will be selected on the basis of their leadership potential and their ability and passion to foster increased diversity in their workplace and includes women in STEM from across industry, as well as government, not-for-profits and academia.
This combination is invaluable as participants are provided with a unique peer-to-peer networking experience where they forge supportive allegiances across sectors, along with professional development to inspire women to challenge the status quo.
The collective experience of Coronavirus (COVID-19) has sent shock waves around the globe - and as governments work to tackle the spread of COVID-19, life has altered for many of us with working from home the 'new normal'.
Soon we will begin to re-emerge from this crisis and it is vital to maintain the advocacy and the support of diversity and inclusion in our STEM workplaces. This is why veski, with the support of the British Consulate General, will continue with the delivery of the veski inspiring women STEM sidebyside program in 2020, gratefully supported by Victorian Universities, businesses and corporations.
Please keep a look out for news regarding the call for applications via the veski website and veski's media channels.
