Contemplating being an Entrepreneur in Victoria?
2016 veski connection with Amir Eldad
The 2016 veski connection event brings you an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Builder, Amir Eldad, A2E Partners.
Amir’s keynote on “Victoria as a global hub for innovation and entrepreneurship” will cover the importance of global connectivity to drive innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems, opportunities available for Victoria and the role veski connected community can play.
Since 2010, Amir has taken an active role in multiple Boston-based start-up community initiatives, with a global touch, which led to his high-impact role at MassChallenge, as Director of Global Partnerships. During this time Amir has co-founded and expanded the worlds-largest start-up accelerator to key cities, including co-founding MassChallenge Israel early on and bringing it to Jerusalem more recently; playing a key role in establishing the new MassChallenge Switzerland hub in Geneva, and leading a high impact partnership between MassChallenge Boston and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Lyon, France.
Amir is consulting for Monash University, taking a Victoria-wide approach, about ways and programs to strengthen the Melbourne entrepreneurial ecosystem by international connectivity, initially to Boston and Israel.
Amir's role will build on his previous experience with MassChallenge (as Director of Global Partnerships) to help make the MassChallenge Bridge to Australia's Victorian hub program a success, and ensure it is strongly linked to the Victorian entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Based in Cambridge, MA - Amir leverages his strengths in the entrepreneurial communities in Israel, Boston, France, Switzerland and Melbourne (Australia) to help these cities achieve growth objectives through internationally-connected entrepreneurial ecosystems.
The veski connection event is supported by Monash University and Federation Square and will bring together an exclusive and prestigious group of the brightest minds, thought leaders and expertise from academia, research, industry, business and government including our veski innovation fellows, veski board members and other leaders from a variety of fields.
