Rebecca Wilson brings over 25 years of expertise in the life sciences sector to her role as Non-Executive Director of veski. While not a scientist herself, Rebecca has developed extraordinary depth of understanding and passion for the sector through extensive work alongside some of Australia’s most brilliant scientific minds.

Throughout her career, Rebecca has championed the elevation of women in STEM and business leadership, extending beyond advocacy to active mentoring and strategic support for the next generation of women innovators and leaders.

As a respected consultant and board director, Rebecca has been at the forefront of Australia’s most significant scientific breakthroughs and success stories spanning health technology innovations, diagnostics development, and drug development initiatives that have shaped the Australian life sciences landscape.

Rebecca maintains deep, active connections within Australia’s community of innovators, facilitating collaboration and knowledge transfer across the sector. Her position as both governance expert and industry advocate enables her to bridge the gap between scientific innovation and commercial success.

Her board portfolio includes leadership roles with ASX-listed healthcare companies, including Non-Executive Chair positions at Alcidion Limited and Clever Culture Systems, and Non-Executive roles at Vitura Health and Hansen Technologies. This governance experience provides valuable perspective on challenges and opportunities facing Australia’s STEM community.

Rebecca is also the Independent Director of the Tomisich Foundation, created by the Tomisich Family to support education and heritage initiatives including a strong focus on STEM.
