program in 2020/2021
The veski inspiring women STEM sidebyside program, delivered for a third time – is exclusively for a cohort of competitively selected mid-career emerging leaders in STEM industries with the support of Victorian Universities and supporting business and corporations.
In 2020/2021, veski introduced financial assistance by way of a scholarship, providing financial assistance to either join the program and/or assist with travel & accommodation and/or other hardships faced due to circumstances surrounding the coronavirus (COVID – 19) environment.

The call for applications for the veski inspiring women STEM sidebyside program was opened by Ms Julia L Page, veski MD & chief executive at the ‘Engineered for Success and the Science of Leadership: Women in STEM and Business’ event hosted by the former British Consul General Melbourne, Mr Chris Holtby OBE on Thursday, 14 March 2019.
This program was open for women from STEM industries – Two separate, parallel streams target different groups of STEM women:
- Leading the way: Mid-career emerging leaders
- Stamina: Women returning to work

The inaugural veski inspiring women STEM sidebyside program was officially launched track-side at the Formula 1® 2018 Rolex Australian Grand Prix by former Honourable Minister Philip Dalidakis MP, Minister for Trade & Investment, Innovation & the Digital Economy, Small Business on Thursday, 22 March 2018.
This program was open for women from STEM industries and university students – Three separate, parallel streams target different groups of STEM women:
- Empowering you: University students
- Leading the way: Mid-career emerging leaders
- Stamina: Women returning to work
