To celebrate 15 years of inspiring innovation, the 2019 veski fast smarts was brought to you for the third and final time. This curated showcase of 9 of Melbourne’s brightest Innovators was held at Deakin Edge, Federation Square on Wednesday 22 May.

As voted by the audience, it was Innovator duo Dr Serena Duchi and Dr Carmine Onofrillo from St Vincent’s Biofab3D who spoke on the innovation of the Biopen, a surgical tool that promises to shape the future of orthopedic surgical procedures, were named 2018 veski fast smarts ‘Innovators of the Year’.
This curated showcase of 9 of Melbourne’s brightest Innovators was held at Deakin Edge at Federation Square on Wednesday 9 May.

It was Cricket Effect – a start-up aiming to revolutionise the future of food by bringing insects onto the world’s plates – who were named 2017 veski fast smarts Innovators of the Year.
On Friday, 5 May 2017 at Deakin Edge, Fed Square, veski hosted veski fast smarts, a premier event as part of Melbourne Knowledge Week. The program featured nine innovators through a series of rapid-fire presentations powered by PechaKucha.
